I have a feeling that Amelia may be in the head down position!
Ive constantly felt pressure on my bladder all day today, and I’m feeling movement very high. I’m hoping that it’s her little feet kicking around! I guess I will find out Thursday. But I could just be imagining all this…
My non stress test this morning was super easy. Kinda boring, to be honest. Haha. But I’m so happy to know that Amelia’s heart rate is good and that she’s being so active! :)
I am craving Cheetos and a big spoonful of peanut butter. Not together though.
… i have peanut butter, but no cheetos. :(
I need to go to bed soon.
I have my first Non-Stress Test in the morning.
Ive heard its really easy, and you just lie there for 15-20 minutes, but i still feel so nervous. Mleeeh.
As May is coming closer, I am becoming more nervous. So many things going on, and I feel like I have no time to get anything done. Though I still have about 8 weeks…
-Baby shower in less than a week. I don’t know why I’m so nervous about it.
-My birthday!
-Baby shower number 2 at end of month.
-Set up nursery.
-Wash all of Amelia’s clothes.
-Talk to bank about car loan.
-Get a new car.
-Buy things we need that we didnt get at our showers.
-And now i have appointments 2 times a week because of NST.
On a side note, Zach went birthday shopping for me today, and when he got home he said “you can’t have your gift yet, but you can have this…” and he pulled out a onesie that had a princess on it and it said “Daddy’s Little Princess”. Hes so cute. :3
Unfortunately, I was not one of the lucky ones to go through pregnancy without stretch marks. Mine are getting noticeably ridiculous. Lol. But that’s okay. Lets me know that Amelia is growing in there. :)

I’ve actually gained about 20lbs so far. Kinda all in my belly. But I was chunky even before being pregnant. :P
Had my doctor’s appointment and fluid check this morning.
Appointment went well. Fluid check is about the same as last week. i was at 9.64 last week, and was at 9.91 this morning. I was told as long as im above 8, that is good, but its still not enough.
As of right now, Amelia is still breech. Her head is on the right side of my belly, while her feet are at the left. If my fluid stays where it is right now, she may not be able to turn. :( This makes me so sad. I just dont know what else to do. I just keep drinking water… all day. I guess we will see how it is next week.
I start non-stress tests on monday. And i go twice a week. Thats going to be so many doctor visits a week! But thats okay. I enjoy going and getting check ups on Amelia.
Im nervous that due to all this.. low fluid, gestational diabetes, her being breech, will cause her to have to come earlier than my due date. And i would love to see her before her due date, but i have so much i need to get done before she gets here. So if she could just hold off, that would give mommy time to get things together.
We still havent set up anything for the nursery, but i would like to wait until AFTER the baby showers to set things up, that way we know what we have and what we need. But my last shower is May 26th.. and by then i will be 36 weeks…and i just hope she at least stays in there for 38. Then she’s more than welcome to come into the world. :)
but i think i have an ingrown toenail. :(
If i can remember, i just got it like, a couple months ago… but didnt think anything about it. It didnt start bothering me until this week. Im thinking maybe my shoes are getting too snug.
So, i guess i will be getting myself some new shoes for my birthday, in hopes that that makes it better.

Haha it is weird how there is a LIST of things to avoid while pregnant these days. If I’m craving it but shouldn’t have it, I just really limit it. And congrats to you and your wife!! How far along is she? And I currently don’t live in Korea, but I used to when I was younger, and lived there for 4 years. My dad was stationed in Seoul… I cannot remember the name of the base though. My moms family still live there, so we visited a couple summers ago. I miss it so much! I hope you are enjoying it there! :)
It never fails. Zach can always make me feel better when I am upset and crying (I blame it on hormones), better than anyone else can.

Yes, I have been told that deli meats and hotdogs are not good to eat while pregnant due to a bacteria called listeria, that can be found on cold meats. Ive read that if you do eat deli meats, it has to be heated (steaming hot) before eating to kill the bacteria.
I did have subway, and got my sandwich toasted to heat it up a bit, but I do not eat it often. I do find it silly though. My mom claims she ate everything the doctors say you shouldn’t eat now, and I turned out just fine. :P

I think Amelia has hiccups! This is the first time I’m feeling this! :) How exciting!
*keep saying to self* I only have to work tomorrow, then i have 2 more days off.
I think i am to the point where i do not want to work any more. Its starting to hurt my tummy to bend over, which takes place when i have to straighten the aisles of the store. But i would prefer to be out on the floor than stuck on a register.
I always feel tired, making me have no motivation to want to get up and get ready… to go to work.
And long shifts are just making my back and feet hurt since i stand and walk the whole time i am there… which is usually 6-8 hours.
I am very lucky that my managers have agreed to give me an extra day off a week, but my hours that i do work are slightly increasing.. to make sure i still get my full time hours. But hey, i will take it!
I still have… 2 months of work left.. well, maybe a month and a half, until my maternity leave. I CANNOT WAIT.

Minus the pregnancy weight gain, I’d like to lose 50-60 lbs. I’m feeling frustrated that I can’t really do anything right now… While I’m feeling down about myself.
I’ve been very emotional today… Just in general.
I’m nervous for my doctor appointment in the morning. I hope my fluid levels are back up. What happens if it’s still low? :(
When should I start getting Amelia’s nursery ready? I only have 10 (or less) weeks left!
It’s just an inconvenience if we set up the nursery too soon since all of her things will be in our room. And we just don’t have a lot of room as it is. My makeup stand/furniture is leaving the room… Pretty much everything is going except the bed and dresser. This is where it would be nice if we had an extra room… So I could start setting up and feeling prepared and not have to
take away everything from our room in the process.
I’m so whiney, I apologize. This whole thing is just making me panic. I feel like I’m running out of time.
Well, my fluids are definitely better than what they were at my last appointment a month ago, but it’s still leaning towards the low side. I have been drinking so much more water, but i guess now im going to cut out every other drink ive been drinking and ONLY drink water. I just want baby to be protected! :( I am told NO caffeine. Which, other than water and milk, all ive really been drinking is diet root beer (diet because of my gestational diabetes) and it has no caffeine… so maybe my issue is i need to drink MORE water. But, im going to stop drinking root beer too. Just to be safe. I go back on Tuesday for another check up.
On a plus side, my doctor says ive been doing great and have an amazing attitude compared to most patients. Hehe. That makes me happy. I talked to him about my maternity leave… and it was as expected. Im going to keep working until either something comes up that prevents me to continue, or until my body just tells me to stop. Id say i will work til at least mid June, and only take 8 weeks off for maternity leave.
Baby is starting to practice breathing, which was cool to see. She had her hands and feet up by her face, so it was kinda hard for us to get a good picture (as usual, lol. She must be camera shy) but when we did see her, her little mouth was open. She definitely has a chubby, flat nose like her mommy. And shes just been kicking away all morning. :) Oh, and she weights 3lbs 2oz! Getting big!
Wish me luck for my check up on Tuesday and hope my fluids are a little higher, and not lower.
A regular customer, a grandpa, who always shops with this adorable, blonde curly haired grandson, came into the toy store yesterday to return something. I said hello, asked how he was. He asked how I was then says “Are you pregnant or something?”
Now, if I didn’t know this grandpa as a regular, and he was just a first time customer, I think I would be offended. Just by the way he asked… But I smiled and said yes.
I have no idea what I want to do for my birthday next month! It’s on Mothers Day :) though, MY mom is clear in Hawaii!
I told Zach I wanted that Watermelon Ice Cream cake they have at Dairy Queen. :) and I also want to go to Fusion Japanese Steakhouse to get sushi rolls (the ones without raw fish, of course) but I have a feeling I will be judged for going there… Because by then, I will be noticeably pregnant.
I will be content if someone *wink wink* would just get me an Ice Cream cake, flowers, and a burrito from College Burrito! I’d be a happy camper.
So, will someone send me cute asian baby things? Like… adorable outfits, toys, accessories, blankets, ect? :) I hope my Korean grandma and aunts send me things! Hehe. Omg, asian countries have the cutest kids things! Yes? :3
Little Miss Amelia will be a 1/4 korean. :P Hehe. How adorable would she be if she looked more korean than i do? I would be so jealous. <3
I cant wait until Thursday! Ultrasound and Dr. Appointment. So anxiously excited to see how we are doing!
My boyfriend, his sister, and I went to lunch earlier today and when we were being seated, a lady took us to a booth, and I barely fit! My tummy was right up against the table. Our server offered to let us move, but I stayed. That was the first time that had happened. Im sure if I were to go back next week, I wouldn’t fit. Hehe. And while at work today, a mom asked me where our nursing room was, and after I directed her, she smiled and said “you look so cute!” it caught me off guard. I said “thank you!” and as she walked away, I tried so hard to figure out if I knew her from somewhere. I didn’t. She was just a very friendly customer! Work is starting to really take a toll on me. I am always feeling tired. Not in a way where I want to sleep all the time, but my body just feels tired. Bending over is becoming difficult and trying to get out of bed is a pain. I just have to roll out. I’m getting “yelled at” at work for doing certain things. Like bending over to pick something up. Or for pushing a couple cart into our cart return. It’s kinda funny. Only 79 days until my due date! I can’t wait for my next appointment on Thursday!
